Many businesses are now thinking about their corporate social responsibilities when procuring new products and services, and indeed when selling and engaging with the community. However, I think the question on many peoples minds just now, is whether this will hold up through the current economic climate.
Is CSR now an unaffordable luxury for businesses?

I'd like to think that companies would see a responsible attitude as one that would attract customers who wanted to see them behave that way. But in practice, and unfortunately, I suspect most won't bother.
