I have been looking at a couple of CRM's because we are thinking about using one at work. Does anyone use one? And if so, what do you use and what is your experience of it?

Ha! That made me chuckle

It's software for Customer Relationship Management... somewhere to store your contacts, sales leads, pipeline business, marketing campaigns, contracts etc etc. -

How big is your company?
How many users?
I have 11 users in my company and ACT! from SAGE works brill for us.
One of the best things we have found with ACT! is that it has its own EMail client that talks to Outlook which means when we are sending a customer or prospect-wide mail-out it can send an individual email to every contact (we leave it running overnight) rather than have to BCC to 4,000 addresses!
Zappy - don't try and understand my dear, but you are welcome to come round with a couple of bags of buns one day and I'll run you through it

There are 12 employers, but probably only 5 would use it. We have Sage as a finance system, so I'll certainly have a look at it as it may link in to the invoicing system! I've also been looking at an Open Source package called Sugar, and salesforce.com.
Thanks for mentioning the e-shots... I looked at a company today that provide an web based interface for managing e-shots today and I was wondering whether you can get this included in your CRM.

I'm prepared to be educated? What is a CRM? In our house that particular acronym stands for Crikey Run Mum. Usually there is a large spider involved. Sorry. I'll get me coat...................
